Today's short is Tess Martin's The Lost Mariner, an animation inspired by a case study of the late Dr. Oliver Sacks (1933-2015) and found in Dr. Sacks's book The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat.
The moving and insightful short won a number of prizes this past year and was screened in the United States and abroad at more than two dozen film festivals.
